How to browse articles for the existing terms?
To search through articles for the existing terms, enter the requested term into the search field and click on Search button. Wiki will automatically display all articles containing the requested term within the article title or text.
To directly access an article, type its full title into the search field and click on Go button.
For a full list of all articles, click on Special Pages link in Toolbox menu on the left; on the following page, click on All Pages link (which should be at the top of the list!)
How to create a new term/article?
A New article can be entered by typing its title into the search field, then clicking on Go button. This should be followed by the reply "There is no page titled ":your_desired_title". You can create this page." Next, click on the create this page link, contained within the message above. A template will be opened enabling you to create the text of the article. IMPORTANT: The procedure described above is the preferred way of creating a new article, as it enables you to check whether the article under the same title already exists.
Another way of creating a new term is by clicking on a link within an existing article, leading to a term that has not been created yet. Such links are marked by red colour and underlined.
If on an existing page you find a word or a phrase you consider should have its own page, turn that word or phrase into a link. This is the procedure: at the top of an existing page click on Edit, put the desired word or phrase between double square brackets (like this:[[your page name]]) and save the existing page. You have just created a link. Click on the link and it will either take you to an existing page under the same title, or to a blank page. This is another great way to create new articles.
How to edit an existing term/article?
While browsing an article, you can click on edit above the title and it will take you to the page that allows you to edit an existing article. You can graphically enhance the text you have entered by clicking on one of the provided function keys below the article title.
Before saving an article by clicking on the Save page button, check how the entered and formatted text will be displayed; click on the Show preview button to do that.
Additional advice on formatting wiki articles can be obtained at the following pages:
How to insert an image within an article text?
You can insert an image within an article text by typing a full http:// link leading to the desired image while editing an article (e.g. http://www.foi.hr/CMS_home/katedre/za_jezik.jpg which would result in insertion of this image
at a particular place within the article. NO ADDITIONAL SYMBOLS, such as brackets, should be used.)
How to discuss a term?
Clicking on discussion above the current articles will take you to a text that can be used to discuss a particular topic. Please enter your name to help make it clear who has entered which contribution.
